Over the next few months and potentially years, there might be more confusion and misinformation out there about medical treatments – what works, what doesn’t, what is yet to be determined.
It can be easy to listen to a podcast or even just as easy to read or listen to a physician or researcher talk about what they know. But… the best place to read and learn what is actually happening in these studies and analyze it with someone who knows how. Go to the studies. Go right to them. You will find out who is doing the actual work in the field. Then do a search on that author and read what they authored.
One of the best lessons I’ve learned is how to do a lit search on medical research studies (and how to determine the quality of these studies), individual case reports, and general lit reviews. Go straight to the articles!
