Embouchure

When thinking of a good hobby that your child can really grow into, I often think of that time, way back in middle school when the music conductor of our band fit my facial muscles with the mouth piece of the French horn. I wasn’t sure about that instrument but the conductor seemed to know what he was doing. Similarly, it may take a few tries to get the best fit, whether sport or art, we have as a parental intuition what may work best for our child. I love team sports but they are not the best fit for us so we’re pursuing martial arts. How did you decide on what was the best fit for your child in pursuits outside of academics?
